David Charles Rector

David Charles Rector, age 65, passed away on October 12, 2023, at Phelps Health Hospital, Rolla, Missouri. He was born on April 5, 1958, to Charles and Anna Marie (Robertson) Rector. David was united in marriage to Margie Louise Martin, and to this union, four children were born, Paul, Jackie, Deanna, and Joseph. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margie Rector, his mother, Anna Rector, and two young brothers. Survivors include his children, Paul Rector and wife Elizabeth of Clever, MO, Jackie Nisbett and husband, Josh of Vienna, MO, Deanna Rector and companion, Donald Adams of Dixon, MO, and Joseph Rector of Birch Tree, MO; his father, Charles Rector of Baxter Springs, KS; one brother, Charles Rector and wife, Courtney of Baxter Springs; and four grandchildren Abigail Smith, Emma Nisbett, Ollie Nisbett, and Morgan Rector. David volunteered for the fire department in Birch Tree, Missouri, for several years. He loved spending time with his family, hunting, and fishing with family. David enjoyed putting puzzles together, playing horse- shoes, and playing cards with his sisters and brothers-in-law. Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, October 16, 2023, at Yarber Mortuary, Birch Tree, Missouri, with Richard Murphy officiating. Visitation was held prior to the service from 1-2:00 p.m. also at the funeral home. Interment was in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Winona, Missouri. Condolences may be expressed at www.yarbermortuary.com.
