COVID Shots Clinic Thursday

The Shannon County Health Center (SCHC), in Eminence, will host a drive through COVID vaccination clinic on Thursday, Feb. 10, from 9 AM to 10 AM and from from 1 PM to 2 PM. “Please bring your insurance card and, if you have had any previous doses, your COVID vaccination card with you.” Appointments are not necessary. On Jan. 29 SCHC reported receiving 106 new COVID-19 cases in the previous week, ranging in age from a minor to age 99. “ We currently have 84 active cases with 3 in the hospital,” the reported stated. “We adjusted our breakthrough case numbers after discovering that the CDC’s ‘fully vaccinated’ definition does not include the booster (although they are considering changing it). Consequently, our breakthrough cases are quite a bit higher than they were last week, but all of those did not occur in the past week.” The Shannon County Health Center is located at 110 Grey Jones Drive, in Eminence.
