Shearon Faye (West ) Farris was born on May 31, 1943, to Art and Allie West in Shannon County, Missouri. She departed this life on Wednesday, May 29th, 2024 at her home in Winona at the age of 80 years, 11 months, and 29 days.

Shearon Faye West was united in marriage to Henry “Bud” Farris on June 3, 1961, at the Church of God of Prophecy in Winona. To this union, three daughters were born, Angie, Tammy, and Cara Dawn.

Shearon is preceded in death by her parents, Art and Allie West; her husband, Henry “Bud” Farris; her daughter, Cara Dawn Pulliam; her siblings, Peggy Hunt, Lee, Gerald, and Kenneth West.

Shearon is survived by her daughters, Angie (Jeff ) McAfee and Tammy (Kerry) Kile of Winona , MO; grandchildren, Kattie (Bubba) Scott, Adeana McAfee-Brewer (David Chrestman), Nathan (Brittany) Kile, Jessie (Justin) Spurgin, and Jacob and Josh Pulliam; greatgrandchildren, Trevin and Tate Brewer, Bentley and Berkley Scott, Swayze, Bryar, Jackson, and Greer Pulliam, Kashton Kile; and a host of many nieces, nephews, and in-laws.

Shearon was a Christian and was baptized at an early age. She loved to read her King James Bible and Zane Grey novels. Shearon liked to listen to bluegrass music, Elvis, and Loretta Ly n n . She enjoyed watching volleyball, softball, and the St. Louis Cardinals. She had a passion for jig dancing, playing cards, and gambling. She was an avid supporter of the Winona Senior Citizens. Shearon loved her family and God above all else. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 1, 2024, at Yarber Mortuary, Winona, Missouri, with Rev. Jason Basham officiating. Visitation was held prior to the servicee from 10- 11:00 a.m. also at the funeral home. Interment was in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Winona. Condolences may be expressed at www.yarbermortuary.com
