John David (Hobie) Holloway

John David “Hobie” Holloway, son of George and Lena Holloway, was born August 13, 1963 in Winona, Missouri. He departed this life on July 31, 2024 in Birch Tree, Missouri. He had attained the age of 60 years old. He resided in Winona, Missouri, where he was born and raised.
On December 19, 1990 Hobie was married to Ladonna Wells of Van Buren, Missouri and to this union two children were born. Hobie was a very good person who loved to tease people. He loved going fishing, hunting and spending time with his family and loved ones.
Survivors include his wife Ladonna, children Ryan Wells Holloway and Faith Holloway, all of Winona, Missouri. His sister’s Sharlet Hooloway, Polly Holloway, and Mary Ann Brawley (Eddie) of Winona, Missouri; sister Myrtle Pate of Pine Bluff, Arkansas; brother Charles Holloway of Winona, Missouri.
Hobie will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
There will be a Celebration Of Life October 5, 2024 at the Pine Lawn Cemetery in Winona, Missouri at 11:00 am with a dinner immediately following at the Lion’s Park. Everyone is invited.
