Randy Scott Dent ,57, of Eminence, Missouri, passed away unexpectantly on October 19, 2024. He was born to Robert Johnny and Ermia Maudena (Bland) Dent on March 22, 1967 in Houston, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his parents, Johnny and Maudena; sister, Evelyn Case; brother, Bill Dent; and nephew , Joey Case.
Randy is survived by his brother, Bruce Dent; sister, Phyllis (John) Melton; brother-in-law, Gary Case; nephews, Ryan (Bernadette) Melton, and Seth Case; niece, Lora (Matthew) Melton Ertmoed; great nephews and nieces, Ethan, Isaac and Chloe Melton, Anna and Bradley Ertmoed; two aunts, many cousins, and many lifelong friends whom he considered family.
Randy was employed by the State of Missouri Weights and Measures Department. He was on the board of Bethany Chapel Cemetery. He loved his family, fishing, hunting, spending time with his lifelong friends, enjoying life and having fun.
An early celebration of life dinner was planned and held by his lifelong friends on October 23, 2024. Many memories of Randy were shared by all.
A memorial service was held at Bethany Chapel on Nov.3, 2024. We leave you with this: “It’s hard to forget someone who gave us so much to remember.”
