Twas the Seasons - Area youth hunters harvested deer in both the early youth season and November firearms season, in which Hayden Sanders (above left) bagged a big ten-point buck the first weekend. Brylee Counts (top right), hunting with stepdad Jon Needels, and Grant Needels, hunting with dad Bob Needels, were successful in the early youth season. On Sunday, Shannon County hunters had checked 479 antlered bucks, 113 button bucks and 491 does for a total of 1083 deer. The November firearms season ended Tuesday. (Photos Submitted)
