Calvin Ray Ballance

Calvin Ray Ballance was born on April 16, 1950, in Mountain View, Missouri to Roy and Reva (Pritchett) Ballance, and passed away on February 7, 2025, at Autumn Oaks Nursing Home in Mountain Grove, Missouri, making his age 74 years, 9 months, and 21 days.
Calvin is preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Reva Ballance; his infant brother, Glen; his grandparents, Clark and Nellie Ballance; grandparents, Fred and Lula Pritchett; and several aunts and uncles.
He leaves to mourn his passing his uncle and aunt, Garry and Sharon Kay Pritchett; aunt, Willadean Parris; and a host of cousins and friends.
Calvin worked back in the day at Hampton’s Garage and also at various sawmills until his health declined. He enjoyed flowers, especially tulips and peonies, picking up cans, and visiting with family and friends.
He will be missed by all who knew him.
Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. on Tu e s d a y, February 11, 2025, at Yarber Mortuary, Winona, Missouri, with Nick Smotherman officiating. Visitation was held prior to the service from 10-11:00 a.m. also at the funeral home. Interment was in New Eminence Cemetery, Eminence, Missouri.
