Larry Neal

Larry Dwane Neal, of Winona, passed away peacefully on March 7, 2025, at the age of 76. Larry was born February 21, 1949, at Van Buren, Missouri to Don Carlos Neal and Marie Louanna (Macy) Neal. 

Larry married Deana Atchison onAugust 12, 1967. Together, they had seven children. He was proud father of Janet (Paul) Taylor of Pleasant Hope, Dwane (Starila) Neal of Winona, James (Paula) Neal of Birch Tree, William Paul Neal of Winona, Robert (Jenna) Neal of Winona, Charles (Shanna) Neal of Winona, and Jessica (Kevin) Feldbaumer of Winona. Larry has 26 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. He loved and was proud of each and every one of them. 

Larry loved his family deeply. His siblings are Donald Jay (Ruth) Neal of Udall, Phillip Lee Neal (deceased), Marjorie Ellen (Rick) Price of Van Buren, Reva Marie (Larry) Dow of Birch Tree, and Rebecca Jewell (Carl) Shoffner of Van Buren. He has a multitude of nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins, and family and friends that will miss him dearly. 

Larry worked many different jobs in many different places, from logging, construction, driving a truck, road construction, forest service, to logging in Alaska. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, gigging, farming, and anything outdoors. 

Larry had many adventures with family and friends and in later years he loved to share the stories about those times with others. Larry was saved and soon after baptized on May 6, 2018. He enjoyed going to church and fellowshipping. 

Larry was such a huge part of so many people’s lives and will be greatly missed, but with the comfort of knowing that we will see him again. 

Memorial Services for Larry will be held on May 10, 2025, at 4 pm at Oak Grove Church, Birch Tree, Missouri, with a potluck dinner to follow
