Honorah Orinda Theresa Mcdonnell

Honorah Orinda Theresa Mcdonnell was born December 3, 1948, in Patchogue, New York, to John and Isabella Josephine (Crampton) McDonnell and died peacefully at Ozarks Healthcare, West Plains, Missouri, on June 15, 2022, at the age of 73. Honorah was of the Catholic faith and a baptized Mormon. She was a registered nurse and mentor to many throughout her career. Honorah’s greatest blessing was her three children, Kevin, Erin, and Matt. Mom, you are and will forever be missed by all the members of your “Family”, who were often not by blood. A common code of trust and the bond of friendship can sometimes be stronger and more valuable than blood. Even through her last days she was the embodiment of the saying, “you don’t know how strong you truly are, until you fight for what you need”. Honorah is preceded in death by her parents, John and Isabella McDonnell, and her siblings. She is survived by three children, Kevin, Erin and Matt, and twelve grandchildren, John, Jacob, Corrine, Madison, Bryan, Nathan, Dakota, Aoife, Ewen, Kota, Taiga and Yoshito. Funeral services were held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 22, 2022, at Yarber Mortuary, Mountain View, Missouri, with Jerry Blaylock officiating .Visitation was Tuesday, June 21, 2022, from 6-8:00 p.m. also at the chapel.
